To my Best Friend

The coldness of the night as I write this,

Is as cold as my heart the day I met you.

Our friendship started with a very funny beginning,

And i never wanted to put any hilarious ending.

Everyone listen to me when I speak,

But its only you who listens without words.

I could tell a lie to the entire world,

But to you? that will be a crazy thing ofcourse.

I've taught you bad things, I admit,

But it was just my way to let you know that you have the strength to stand alone.

You've taught me a lot of good things,

though its hard to lived in an angel way,

coz of you, I still manage to smile to everyone even if they've hurt me.

All those times we've shared listening music which I love and you hated,

Melodies you like while I rejected,

Tunes that will never fade in my heart,

The notes of our friendship is my favorite and I will never get tired of playing it all over again.

I know I always say that you're ugly,

But it doesn't mean that your face sucks!

All I wanna say is that the uniqueness of your beauty cannot be bought in any wealth,

because its not just your face that costs millions,

but its your heart that cannot be payed even by the most expensive diamond.

Your voice, oh, that's totally annoying,

but my day wouldn't be complete without hearing you singing beside me.

That impatient tune of your voice, I will surely miss,

And you're funny lil face everytime I made foolishness.

You were the first, the first who made everything perfect for me.

I will never forget what you've done in my birthday.

Of all the friends I have,

It was only you who made everything totally special.

As I reminisce tonight, I just can't remember a single fight between us,

Just  childish quarrels that seems so funny to remember.

With you, I became happy, sad, satisfied, confident, mad etc. and worst, i got jealous (hahahaha),

That feeling in that very day seems so strange.

You were there in the ups and downs of my life,

And if there were words to express my gratitude, it would be endless.

If I would have the chance to have a second life, I would still choose you to become one of my closest friend,

It might sounds boring but I am happy and the ride of my life with you is worthy and undeniably, I will treasure it for a lifetime.

Next school year, everything will never be the same again.

Even if how much I'll try to look for you on the first day of school, I know you will be nowhere.

I will miss sitting beside you,

I will miss cutting classes with you,

I will miss eating those exotic and unfamiliar food with you,

I will miss walking, playing, surfing, studying and laughing with you..

Distance might separate us,

But your value will never fade here in my heart.

And if I could put a meaning in the word 'forever',
